I honestly have to say it is an incredibly beautiful walk and a must for all hiking and nature lovers, there is a great variety of flora, wildlife and picturesque views. I have no doubt after completing this 5 day, 80km route through the Overberg region your heart will truly be smiling.

The past week was definitely a highlight in my 52-year life. Never have I been part of a group that is so extremely well organized, friendly, and caring. The staff of the Hermanus Camino work so well together and they make you feel as if you are the first group they ever dealt with. Everyone is so excited about the work they do and one can see they clearly love the work they do. This was such a wonderful, life-changing experience. The attention to detail, the food, the accommodation everything was truly perfect! Could not have asked for anything more. Everything was so well thought of. I cannot truly explain the experience but it was not just a walk/hike - but truly a remarkable experience of growth, love and joy amongst our group and the Hermanus Camino Team. Also the steak braai was out of this world!

It is difficult to describe the 5 days in words, even the pictures we took do not do it justice. We were a group of 6 friends who had the time of our lives. The scenery, the accommodation, the food, the company and all the extras all exceeded my expectations. Everything was planned to the T and we never needed to ask for anything. From the guides, to the porters, to the hosts, everyone went out of their way to make the experience as special as possible and they succeeded. Wonderful experience, should be on everyone’s bucket list and I will recommend it to anyone who likes to walk, talk and take in what our beautiful country has to offer.
